Upper Awa SHP

Upper Awa SHP is located on Awa Khad, a tributary of Binwa River in Beas basin in Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh. The project is operated by Astha Projects (India) Ltd. ("APIL"). The project has been operational since May 2008. APIL has a PPA with Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board for 40 years.
