Wind Power

Unlike the traditional turnkey approach for development of wind projects, we have chosen an independent developer model to build our wind portfolio. We are developing 50-200 MW sized wind projects in a phased manner ensuring long term reliable generation. The wind strategy is backed by strong site data to enable capacity optimization and selection of best technology.

Currently we have 714 MW of capacity in operation and 402 MW is under advanced stage of construction.

Ratnagiri Wind Farm

Ratnagiri Wind Farm is a 101.6 MW wind energy project located in Satara District, Maharashtra. The project is owned and operated by our subsidiary, Ratnagari Wind Power Projects Private Limited ("RWPPL").

Phase 1 of the project (65.6 MW) is an operational Wind Farm.
The power generated by the project is transmitted over a 12.0 km 33kV overhead transmission line connecting to the 33/200 kV pooling sub-station of the company at Palshi, Satara District, Maharashtra.

Phase 2 of the project (36.0 MW) is an operational Wind Farm.
The power generated by the Phase 2 is also evacuated through the 33/200 kV pooling sub-station of the company at Palshi, Satara District, Maharashtra.

Rayala Wind Farm

Rayala Wind Farm is a 240+ MW wind energy project located in Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh of which 179.2 MW is operational and the balance capacity in under construction. The project is owned and operated by our subsidiary, Rayala Wind Power Company Private Limited ("RWPCPL").
