Director (Finance & Company Secretary)
Purushotham is a member of the Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India (FICWA) and Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS). He holds bachelor degrees in Commerce (B.Com) and Law (B.L) and has also qualified in the CPA exam conducted by AICPA, USA. Purushotham has over 28 years of professional experience, mostly in manufacturing sector. He was handling the Finance & Company Secretarial functions of mid-size listed companies, with an exposure in mergers & amalgamations, listing, SEBI matters and other related matters. Purushotham has been discharging the functions of a Profit-center head for the last 10 years; with over all responsibilities of Operations, Finance & Accounts, and HR & Business development. At Greenko he oversees all the finance and legal aspects of the company.
T V Rao
Director (Technical)
TV Rao has over 34 years of experience in the power sector in handling commissioning, erection, operations and maintenance of large Thermal Power Plants ranging from 200MW to 500MW units (2000MW stations) and 220 MW modules of Gas Power Plants (653MW station). His experience involves heading large technically oriented teams of trained experienced engineers and technicians. He is an expert in increasing productivity through technology up gradation and refinement, for which has won numerous plaudits and awards from the Ministry of Power and the Hon. President of India. His maturity and three decades of constant learning is huge asset to Greenko. TV Rao has retired as an Executive Director from National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC LTD), the largest energy (27500MW) generation entity in India.
N Vivekananda
Director (Biomass)
N Vivekananda has over 35 years of experience in the public sector. He was Executive Director at Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. He is a Post Graduate in Economics and completed Research in Investment & CBA (Cost Benefit Analysis). He is has excellent people management skills.
Vijay Kumar Atluri
Sr. Vice President (Projects)
Vijay Atluri has a Bachelors degree from College of Engineering, Osmania University and a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from University of Texas at Austin. He has 20 years of diverse experience in business development, contract management, administration, and execution of infrastructure projects - Transport, Power and Water. He brings along with him extensive project execution experience which will help the company in implementing various ongoing projects within schedules. Being an entrepreneur for more than a decade he has the ability and experience to develop and deliver complete projects within budgeted cost and timeline and also drive the SPVs as independent profit centers. At Greenko he will be the driving force in implementing and operating all Hydro Power initiatives in North India and also actively building the organization to match the vision of the management.
P Jagannadha Rao
Sr. Vice President (Transmissions & Electrical)
Jagannadha Rao is an engineer with over 40 years experience in the power sector. He was General Manager (RAC & Planning), responsible for planning lines, substations for all the five circles of APEPDCL and also involved in preparation of tariff orders for Regulatory Commission. He has also worked with Kothagudem Thermal Power which secured 3rd rank from State Govt., for maintaining uninterrupted power supply during Pushkarams 2002. In his past role, he was also responsible for reduction of line losses and maintaining zero failure DTrs and headed the team for preparation and Implementation RAC schemes and substations. He has diverse experience and exposure in erection & commissioning of mini hydel power projects in our country.
S V B S Singh
Sr. Vice President (Hydro Design)
Singh has close to 4 decades of engineering experience in Construction, Power Distribution, Thermal and Small Hydro Power Plants. He was with Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board for 25 years in both thermal O&M sector and design and development of small hydro sectors. He was responsible for testing, commissioning and maintenance of 2X 110 MW Thermal Power Project for 6 years. He was actively involved in design, development and implementation of mini and small hydro electric projects in the capacity range of less than 1 MW to 15 MW for more than 10 mini/small hydro power projects in Andhra Pradesh during a period of 18 years.
From the last 10 years he has been Involved in assessment, design, development and implementation of Mini and Small Hydro Electric Schemes in the States of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh and Orissa for private sector entrepreneurs in the capacity range of 0.5 MW to 25 MW for about 50 schemes . At Greenko, Singh brings across his expertise across design and development of mini & small hydro electric schemes of different types from concept to commissioning stage involving Identification, site selection, carrying out of feasibility studies and preparation of feasibility reports. He has been carrying out studies and preparation of detailed project reports and detail designs and development of specifications for the projects. Procurement of E&M equipment detailed engineering, equipment inspection, erection, testing and commissioning as well as performance evaluation of Small Hydro Power Units.
V V Krishnareddy
Sr. Vice President (Civil)
Krishnareddy holds a Bachelor's degree in engineering with distinction. He was with Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board / Andhra Pradesh Power Generation Corporation for 32 years and retired as Chief Engineer. He has vast experience in civil and hydro mechanical works for all mini, small, major hydro projects, from 600 KW of Karimnagar project to 6X150 MW of Srisailam Left Bank Under Ground Hydro Electric Scheme. He is responsible for "Arresting excessive vibrations of Penstock Line No 3 of Upper Sileru Hydro Electric Scheme" Owing to vibrations problems in Penstock Line, generation had to be restricted to about 50% of the capacity i.e. to 30 MW. The rectifications carried out under his able guidance and leadership have resulted in Unit operating with full capacity of 60 M W. APGENCO has honored him with Commendation, Citation and an Incentive for his valuable work. He is also responsible for renovation and restoration of inundated Srisailam Right Bank Power House during heavy floods of Krishna River during 1998 and 2009.
He is actively associated with APGENCO as Technical Consultant after retirement for solving the technical construction and generation problems of all Hydro Power Stations in Andhra Pradesh. At Greenko he is responsible for design, planning, execution & maintenance of all civil & hydro mechanical works at the projects.
M V Rao
Sr. Vice President (Biomass)
MV Rao brings with him almost 4 decades of experience in handling commissioning, operations, testing and maintenance of biomass projects, CPP, Super Thermal and Gas based Power stations. He was amongst the first batch of Engineer's from NTPC and has the experience of handling projects from 60MW to 5x157.5 MW . He has exposure at projects in Andhra Pradesh, New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Orissa.
He has also worked overseas in Saudi Arabia & Thailand. In Phoenix Pulp & Paper Industry he was adjudged the Best Engineer of India by Austrian Chief Commissioning Engineer.
Rao has varied experience in project planning, project evaluation, preparation of DPRs, concept to commissioning of projects, trouble-shooting etc. His diverse experience and perseverance are a huge asset to Greenko.
S Radha Krishna
Vice President (Hydrology)
S Radha Krishna holds a Master Degree in Civil Engineering from IIT, Madras. With an overall experience of 32 years in Hydro Power Projects Planning, he was involved in construction of Gerusoppa Dam - Power Blocks, Reservoir Operation maual of Linganamakki dam, Supa Dam etc. He was deputed to Bangalore Mahanagar Palike as Technical Advisor to Commissioner. He is involved in siting new power plants, dam safety, spill way capacity design, MOEF & CEA Clearances. He has also worked as an advisor to Managing Director, Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd.
P Srinivas
Vice President (Electro Mechanical)
Srinivas is a Civil Engineer and MBA in Systems & Marketing. He has over 18 years of in-depth knowledge in Project Management and has extensive experience in site management. He has wide exposure in Marketing and Execution of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical works of Hydroelectric power projects and system engineering consisting of Electro-Mechanical equipments. Srinivas has worked on various organizational systems like ISO 9001 - 2000 and SAP ERP. At Greenko he is responsible for driving the vision, business development and new project initiatives of the group in specific to the acquisition of Greenfield projects for Hydro power Generation. He is also actively involved in all stages from conceptualization to commissioning of Hydropower projects. Srinivas has previously worked with companies like Kirloskar Brothers Limited, Pune and Boving Fouress Limited, Bangalore.
Siva Oddenna
Vice President (Contracts & Materials Management)
Siva Oddenna is an MBA in Materials Management and holds a degree in Engineering (Electronics & Communications). He has varied experience in contracts, purchase, stores, inventory, insurance and effective risk and transport management. With over 37 years experience, Siva has worked with organisations like NTPC, Midhani, ECIL, Vasavadatta Cement and Suryachakra group. He has also worked as World Bank Materials Management Consultant for Tamil Nadu Electricity Board and served as Head of Regional "Total Quality Management" group. He also has significant experience in ISO - 9001, ISO-14001, OHSAS-18001, SA-8000and 5-S Certification.
Swathi Reddy
Vice President (Communications)
An MBA with 14 years of work experience across marketing, advertising, business development & exposure in human resource management, Swathi is responsible for all public relation initiatives of the company. She coordinates with the PR firms at UK & India. Swathi is responsible for the carbon credit buying process for all Greenko projects and also assists the CDM team for process implementation. She is the sales contact person for companies who want to avail the trading platform of the company to sell carbon credits to European markets.
